ECI is heavily invested in strengthening national or subnational transparency frameworks by covering various aspects such as GHG emissions inventories, mitigation actions and support (finance, capacity building and technology transfer). ECI offers its expertise on the legal, institutional, organizational and technical levels. of an improved transparency framework that builds on current requirements for Measurement, Reporting, Verification (MRV) linked to the progress of national climate actions.Analyses the different aspects of national and regional MRVDesign of online platforms for the management of MRV systems;Preparation of a roadmap for the implementation of the MRV system;In Morocco, ECI has been involved in the establishment of the National GHG Inventory System (SNI GES), the development of the GEF-CBIT project and the development of an online system for the MRV of the NDC. At the territorial level, ECI supported the Souss-Massa region in setting up its MRV system within the framework of the UNEP-ICAT initiative.
