As part of its support for Morocco’s energy transition and industrial decarbonization, the EBRD is assisting the cement and concrete sector in developing a low-carbon strategy aligned with the commitments of the Paris Agreement, with the objective of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. The mission focuses on defining a strategic vision for a carbon-neutral sector, establishing sectoral climate governance (SCG), and preparing a detailed roadmap accompanied by a concrete action plan to achieve the decarbonization objectives set during the first phase.
