This mission is part of ongoing efforts to integrate the climate dimension into territorial development policies in Morocco. It aims to support the World Bank and its partners in designing Climate Action Plans (CAPs) for the Fès-Meknès region and the city of Fès, with the objective to:
Quantify and prioritize greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions based on territorial activities
Identify the most emitting and climate-vulnerable sectors
Define and plan concrete mitigation and adaptation measures
Develop a climate finance roadmap
