The project aims to design a National Integrated System for Climate Transparency (NIS-CT) in order to strengthen the collection, monitoring, and dissemination of climate information at the national level.
Assess the existing systems for collecting and managing climate data.
Identify the technical and institutional requirements for the establishment of the NIS-CT.
Propose a functional and technical architecture of the system, and define the roles and responsibilities of each stakeholder.
Strengthen synergies with thematic coordination committees, particularly on GHG inventories, NDC action tracking, and climate finance monitoring.
Develop a roadmap for the deployment of the NIS-CT.
The project contributes to a strengthening of climate transparency, ensuring effective monitoring of climate-related actions and financing.
