This mission aims to operationalize the national system for tracking climate finance in Morocco, while promoting the engagement of all stakeholders in the fight against climate change.
Objectives:
Develop institutional arrangements and clarify roles and responsibilities related to climate finance tracking.
Update the detailed budget of the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) by sector and by needs.
Develop a system to track national and international climate finance flows to support the effective implementation of the NDCs.
The project contributes to strengthening the transparency and effectiveness of climate finance mobilization, while ensuring better coordination between national and international stakeholders.
