Carbon Footprint of Menara Holding – Analysis of GHG Emissions from Menara Prefa and Carrières Transport Menara
Between 2020 and 2021, Menara Holding undertook a carbon diagnostic process to assess the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions generated by two of its main subsidiaries: Menara Prefa and Carrières Transport Menara. The objective of this initiative was to identify the main emission sources, quantify their environmental impact, and propose a targeted action plan for the gradual reduction of their carbon footprint.
The assignment consisted of:
Raise awareness among subsidiary technical teams on climate issues and GHG accounting
Conduct a quantitative GHG emissions inventory for each entity
Estimate air pollutants generated by operational processes
Assess the carbon intensity of industrial and logistical activities
Identify emission reduction levers
Develop a structured action plan aimed at improving the group’s environmental performance
