Technical assistance in donor prospecting to expand ADA's project portfolio
ADA has a portfolio of projects at various stages of development (concept note, addressing GCF feedback, feasibility studies, funding proposals, etc.). In this context, the present call for proposals is part of the process to strengthen ADA’s capacities and procedures as an EA. It consists of two components: the first involves technical assistance for the review and finalization of concept notes and funding proposals in compliance with GCF requirements; the second focuses on establishing an ESMS, including capacity-building workshops, as part of the operational deployment of ADA’s Environmental and Social Policy.
This service is primarily focused on developing the portfolio of projects to be submitted to the GCF, as well as establishing an Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS). Indeed, submitting projects to the Green Climate Fund involves multiple steps and stakeholders, including the EA, implementing entities, partners, and the GCF.
